Kayla Price

Kayla Price is an emotionally evocative performer and educator, with 14+ years of experience studying classical, operatic, musical theatre, and jazz singing. She is a passionate teacher determined to help students express themselves through music, adapting her teaching to each individual's learning style. Her love of studying new instruments began as a kid, and over the years she's grown skilled at a variety of brass, woodwinds, strings, keyboards and more, alongside her vocal instrument. Kayla has sung with both the BCMEA and BCYC provincial choral ensembles, is a current section leader of the Coastal Sound Youth Choir, and has performed alongside guest artists Dawn Pemberton (2024) and Laila Biali (2024) at the BlueShore theatre. Currently studying jazz music and education at Capilano University, her love for music has only grown tenfold, and she hopes to share that spark with other young musicians.
